First Posting-Welcome!

Welcome to the mayer video blog! We have decided to start this blog in order to keep in touch with past, current, and future clients. We plan to post completed montages as they happen and let you know what were up to on any given day! I'm sure most of you know Justin; but let me introduce myself, my name is Tiffany Mayer and I'm Justin's wife of almost 7 years. We recently had our first child, Madeline. I've always helped with the "background" work and now have taken on the task of maintaining this blog. I would be happy to make myself available to any of you.
I couldn't tell you the first thing about the technical aspects of camera type or different file formats but I can speak from experience! Planning our wedding as well as helping with many others I can tell you that Justin's filming and editing style truly captures the day and peeks into those cherished moments that you hope that you'll remember but eventually forget. When people consider hiring a wedding videographer they think of those prime images of walking down the aisle, how your dress looked, the attendants, your first dance; but think of those in between bits. When the groom gets a touching card from the bride recounting their history and how they got to where they are today- moments before the ceremony begins and the excited manly exterior falls away and you see the softer emotional side of him that he wouldn't usually let people see. Those are the moments that touch your heart and can only be captured on film. Especially Justin's filming style, 90% of the time you'd never even know he was there or sometimes even filming holding the camera at his side.
There are days in our lives that become part of us, that hold on to us, and are never forgotten--but they do fade...Having a film of that day is not only a nice thing to have but in my opinion a requirement especially in this day and age. Looking at the wedding pictures of my grandparents I stop and think...I wonder what their wedding was like, how did they dance, what did the cake look like, and what did they're friends and family think of the day? I would love to have a film of their day! I plan to post some comments/reviews from past brides as well if you think I'm a little bias...which I may be!! :) What can I say I'm proud of him! He works incredibly hard and honestly edits each wedding as if it's ours. He'll stress on some of the littlest details and to be honest sometimes I can't even tell the difference, but to him its "make or break"! Most clients won't be able to tell the difference either but it's the subtle details that give you that overwhelming feeling of joy.
So I hope you all become followers and keep in touch! I would love to hear from you!
